'Les 2 Maisons' is located in the hamlet of Maubec between Cavaillon and Coustellet.

This quintessential village house with expansive interiors and grounds, a certain rustic elegance prevails both in design and atmosphere, consists of main house and guest house accommodating 8 guests with its 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, Provencal garden and heated swimming pool, all in the heart of a small village at the foot of the Luberon hills

The village of Maubec has many small shops (grocery, baker, restaurant…) and just up the road there are supermarkets in Coustellet (4km) and Cavaillon (10km).

Les 2 Maisons makes the perfect base for a truly memorable luxury holiday in France.

 

Combining the main house & guesthouse there are 250 sqm of living area. On the ground floor, the large living room, with stone floor, with a comfy sitting, two armchairs and a large sofa, a large screen satellite TV, DVD and CD players.

An open-plan fully equipped kitchen with American freezer / fridge, oven, dishwasher, toaster... including a dining corner sitting 8 with Provencal crockery.

At the back of the kitchen, there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with wooden flooring and en-suite bathrooms.


The guesthouse is across the courtyard and on the ground floor it has an entrance hall / bar / living area with TV, armchairs, library, table, zinc bar and fridge.

Still at the garden level, there is a first double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which has direct access to the courtyard through its French doors.

And there are two other double bedrooms on the first floor, both with en-suite bathrooms but one is with wooden floor and has separate WC; while the other has tile floor and has been thus decorated that it creates an Arabian atmosphere.

 

Outside the fully enclosed property has a 200 sqm courtyard between the main house and guest house and a lovely garden of 400 sqm.

The courtyard has a covered terrace offering an alfresco dining area with BBQ, and wrought iron dining table, shaded areas with sun chairs and a WC and shower.

Going through an arch under the courtyard covered terrace there is an access to the garden, planted with different varieties of roses and bamboo, and the heated swimming pool 5m x 9m, depth 1.30m with electric cover and soft filtration without chlorine and salt. By the pool, which is surrounded by sun chairs, there is a covered area with a bar and ping-pong table.

Access to the property is via a large automatic gate with off-street parking for 3 cars, and a small gate for access by walking giving on the courtyard.

 

Note: Between the main house and the guest house there is another house but not occupied when "Les 2 maisons" are rented.

Intermediate housekeeping cleaning on Wednesdays and Sauterday changing liinen for rentals of the entire house. Guests must put away their belongings so that cleaning can be done.

When renting the Petite Maison for 4 people, owner does not offer housekeeping on Wednesdays; only a major cleaning at the end of the week & at the end of the stay.

Local Tourist Tax “Tax de Sejour“ starting from 6.10 € per person per night to be paid locally in cash or pre arranged when booking please enquire as price may change per year

Additional maid service approx starting from 25 € per hour

Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival, extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the Security Deposit
