Description

In the outskirt of beautiful Siena, inside an enchanted garden, lays the superb Villa Agos This stunning three-story property is surrounded by a majestic manicured garden, conceived by a renown landscape designer, where time seems to pass at different speed. Between the medieval city of Siena and the unspoiled Tuscan countryside, Agos is nestled on a serene land producing olive oil with great personality. The villa preserves the original structure while the amenities are up to the current time. Each room has been painstakingly curated, wisely marrying the old with the new, featuring a mix of classic design and whimsical decorations collected by its owner from traveling all over the world. This stylish retreat is very grand in a relaxed, comfortable way, with a definite wow factor. Once you stayed at Villa Agos, you wish you could return there many more times!

Main villa consist of two living rooms, two dining rooms and other available areas – occupy the entire ground floor of the villa and they show many treasures: antique and more current objects by most famous designers, family heirlooms, 17th century still-life paintings next to wall art by contemporary artists, rough country fabrics alternate with velvets and brightly colored panels made with ancient Uzbek Ikat. One of the living rooms has walls covered with late 18th-century boiserie that comes from a typical for that time Parisian hotel. A professional grade Uber-modern stainless-steel kitchen, able to satisfy the needs of the most demanding chefs, and a guest bathroom complete the floor. 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms completes this floor

Second floor there is a private wellness area with Techno-gym equipment and Pilates Reformer, yoga mats and massage bed. Laundry room. Staff private quarter. Beside via an internal staircase, all floors can be reached by elevator.

There is an Annex with a comfortable spacious living room, with a picture-window overlooking the stunning landscape, also features an extra screen, perfect for private screenings. A complete small kitchen is also at guests disposal should they prefer being independent at times from the main house kitchen. A further double room with en-suite bathroom

Out side in the villa garden, a generous pergola – with seating up to 18 people – for dining alfresco with the lights of Siena in the distance is set for the guests delight. Under the dense canopy of the evergreen holm-trees it is possible to enjoy the bucolic atmosphere, or a picnic sipping your favorite Tuscan wine. By the white-stone private heated swimming pool the sun will shine until late in the afternoon. Private orchard and vegetable garden where guests are welcome to help themselves and pick the gifts of the season.

The medieval town of Siena is built across several hills and valleys; that's why you will find yourself walking up and down through its historical centre. The lack of car traffic makes Siena a wonderful place to stroll, especially with kids! Despite sometimes being packed with tourists, the city always has a quiet and easygoing feel. A must-see is the shell-shaped square called Il Campo. This is the focal point of the city and the perfect setting to snap your Instagram photos while enjoying an over-sized gelato. This is also the venue of the internationally renowned horse race, The Palio, which takes place on  beginning of July and again on  mid August each year.

Visit San Gimignano, famous for its skyline, and Volterra, renown for alabaster artefacts. The small fortress cities within easy driving distance of one another, each offer their own special appeal. The medieval walled city of Monteriggioni – for example – was built in the 13th century and it is known to be one of the most well preserved ancient fortifications in Italy, which is why it is a preferred destination for plenty of tourists, scholars, architects and archeologists from all over Europe.
