This seventeenth century hamlet of four houses, Hameau Le Fuseaux is in a quite location just five kilometres from the village of Gordes.

The large kitchen includes a large dining table allowing confortable meals and the two ground floor sitting rooms offer ample space for relaxation, one with open fire place an the other a TV room with, VCR, DVD,

There is a guest WC.

Seven bedrooms in all, five double bedrooms with Queen size beds 160cm x 200cm, three of them with shower room and WC, the two share a shower room, one of the double rooms opens onto its terrace and a panoramic view of the Luberon and the Alpilles. There is 2 further children's rooms with shared bathroom.

The garden 1hectare will offer you two different places for eating al fresco the one shaded the other sunny. A large heated overflowing pool of 12 x 10 metres with a submerged sitting area (beach entrance) is perfectly integrated into a small stone amphitheatre complete with fountain, pool-house and bar. There is a Ping-Pong table and a boule pitch.

Hameau La Fuseaux is surrounded by some of the most stunning villages in the Luberon such as Cabrières d'Avignon, where there is a good restaurant, the bistro famously mentioned by author Peter Mayle. A further choice of good restaurants are within 5 km of the house. There is an excellent farmers' market selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and wine in Coustellet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

The enchanting nearby villages of Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in the South of France, is on your doorstep and is well worth a visit. Its century old cobbled streets, tall stone houses built against the rock and the imposing castle are the unique setting for many art exhibitions and musical festivals taking place during the summer season

Other villages such as Menerbes, Fontaines de Vaucluse are an absolute must to visit as well if you are seeking to experience the essence of Provence. And don't miss the pretty village of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, with its canals, narrow streets and antiques market.

For a change of pace, the wonderfully vibrant and historic town of Avignon, with its magnificent Palais du Papes, is one of the architectural wonders of Franc is just 35 kilometres away and would make an ideal day trip
