Located at the beginning of the Alpilles national
park, nestled in 10 hectares this authentic family Mas is an invitation to
total serenity. Wherever you are in the property the view is visible from its
large gardens that include rose garden, lavender, fields and the Alpilles
mountain range.
The property is split into three elegant houses. The
main house comprises 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, all en-suite as well as two
independent annexes with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. There is ample comfortable
accommodation for up to 14 persons, or for smaller groups needing a bit of
privacy.
In the main house, one spacious living room, TV room
and a semi-professional kitchen to accommodate a large family around its
welcoming table, and dining room with fireplace opening onto a shaded terrace,
offer ample space for larger groups to congregate. There is also a large
air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom, overlooking a private terrace, on this
first level. There are several sitting area outdoors invite you to relax under
the shade of a centenary plane tree.
On the second floor, there are four air-conditioned
bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom, a master suite and its spacious
dressing room, a large double bedroom and two single bedrooms for children.
There 2 guest cottages of 100m2 completely independent.
The first guest cottage, is 100 square meters in size, and features one double
bedroom and one twin bedroom with air-conditioned living room and a small fully
equipped kitchenette. The second guest cottage is 80 square meters and consists
of a small kitchen, television sitting area air-conditioned and two double
bedrooms.
The 10 hectares of grounds with
olives trees and lavender, the Mas boast everything needed to enjoy the spoils
of Provence, as well as a bit of activity such as the large saltwater swimming
pool of 15 x 6m which can be heated on request and with seating areas
underneath the shade of the plane trees, or a game of table tennis or pètanque
(Boules/ bocce) or for the more energetic guests there is a floodlit private
tennis court to impress ones friends.
There are numerous walking
trails and paths and the property is situated only 3 minutes' drive from St
Remy de Provence or 20 minutes walking distance or you can use one of the two
bicycles for the guest use to ride into St Rémy-de-Provence.
