Description

Villa Palazetto is a typical Tuscan country home situated in the heart of a poetic Italian landscape surrounded by orchards and olive groves, Italian gardens and tranquil hills. Fully restored to the highest of standards, it still retains its age-old Tuscan charm with terracotta tiled floors, wood beamed ceilings, frescos and several little patio areas shaded by rose covered gazebos.

Offering the best of modern comforts in an elegant yet rustic setting, reception rooms include TV lounge, drawing room, typical Tuscan kitchen, grand dining room and winter garden conservatory. The cottage offers kitchen, dining room and sun lounge.

Interior perks include satellite television, DVD player, a centralised music system and Wi-Fi. You will even find a grand banquet hall that is the ideal setting for special events.

Your reservation includes a full staff with housekeeper and personal chef.

The seven spacious double bedrooms at Villa Palazetto alongside one single room in the house offer space for up to fifteen guests. All of the bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and heating. Most of the bedrooms include double beds and have been fitted in the finest linens and accoutrements.

Outside to the front of the villa is a large lawn with private swimming pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The pool is floodlit – so don’t feel shy about a little midnight dip! You will also find a barbeque and a lovely alfresco dining set outdoors at Villa Palazetto.

This residence was originally built as part of the Controni estate that became renowned as a wine and olive oil producer shipping to Italian descendants in South America and Argentina. Villa Palazetto was added in the early 19th century as a home for the workers of the estate and included a bread oven, stables and grain storage.
