Villa Colibris has recently undergone a complete renovation by its art-loving owners who have a keen eye for interior design and modern style. Also owners of an exclusive gallery specialising in graphic art and photography, guests can appreciate striking prints that adorn the walls of this contemporary home. Objets d’art and designer furnishings also feature in the light-filled rooms whilst sliding doors perfectly frame the verdant views from the open-plan living-dining and kitchen space.

Four beautiful bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms with rain showers, can be found across the two floors. On the ground level, a master bedroom has a gorgeous bath and two sets of French windows leading out to the pool terrace whilst upstairs two of the doubles have an upper balcony with wonderful vistas. Experience Valbonne’s highly regarded Friday morning market and have lunch in the gastronomic village of Mougins where Picasso spent much of his time later in life. Indeed, art enthusiasts should also stop off at Saint-Paul-de-Vence’s Fondation Maeght with its Miró sculpture garden as well as Matisse’s Chapelle du Rosaire in Vence. Not to mention the galleries of Nice, Antibes and Vallauris in this inspiring part of southern France.

Grasse the centre of perfumeries and then just beyond Nice one can visit Monaco and a little further enjoy a taste of Italy too or to the west of Grasse to Fayence and you can even venture a little further to St Tropez.
