Bastide Martin is a lovingly renovated 18th century Provençal Bastide, offering a country retreat yet close to Avignon and the region's main sights. Perfect for couples or families, it combines old-world charm with modern facilities. Five comfortable bedrooms, cosy interiors, a large garden with a heatable swimming pool, and a convenient location close to amenities make this house an ideal base from which to explore Provence at your leisure.

 

The living areas are centred around a lounge and dining room where it's a pleasure to get together. The decor is in keeping with the Provençal spirit, using original materials such as stonework, wood panelling and mouldings, with more modern touches for added comfort: air conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen and fibre-optic internet access. A large open-plan kitchen makes meal preparation and socialising easy. Every room has been designed to combine functionality, simplicity and comfort.

 

The Bastide opens onto a large enclosed garden planted with trees. The swimming pool, which can be heated on request 12 x 5m - Depth : 1 to 1.6m, is a popular place to relax. A shaded terrace, set under a pergola, allows you to enjoy your meals outside. A few deckchairs, a well-tended lawn and Mediterranean plants create a relaxing environment. 
The parking lot can accommodate several cars (up to approx. 4-5 cars).

 

The price includes end-of-stay cleaning and an intermediate cleaning service (4 hours).

 

The Bastide is less than 9 km from Avignon, with easy access to main roads and public transport. The house's location makes it easy to visit the famous sites of Avignon, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Gordes, the hilltop villages and the local markets including  the wine rtregion of Chateauneuf de Pape just 15 km away

 

Shops, bakery and supermarket are all within easy reach by car. The house allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, while being close to the attractions, restaurants and cultural events of Avignon and the Vaucluse.
