In the historic heart of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in the south of France, this late 18th-century house Maison Artiste offers a unique experience. The refined and elegant decor is the result of a selection of rare pieces by architects, designers, and painters. The dining terrace discreetly conceals its fully equipped outdoor kitchen, with a heated pool, a solarium facing the Estrine Museum, and a bar. Rooftop terrace dinners can accommodate up to 14 seated guests. This house tells the intertwined story of a father upholsterer and a close friend Architect, renovated by their respective sons.

 

The magnificent entrance door with Maltese crosses opens on the ground floor to the living room and dining room. These initial spaces immerse you in a refined and colourful ambiance. The kitchen, with a contemporary purity and fully equipped, stretches along the stone walls and an ancient archway, opening its doors to the 18th-century façade of the Estrine Museum. The three floors are accessible by an elevator. For your comfort, a Hammam is also available.

 

One more floor up, and you are above the rooftops. You will have access to a dining terrace, a fully equipped summer kitchen, a heated swimming pool 3.5 x 2.5m, Depth: 1.5m, and a solarium facing the Estrine Museum. Finally, from the top of the staircase, you are offered a 360-degree view of the Alpilles to the south, the Luberon to the east, Mont Ventoux to the north, and the Montagnette to the west.

 

This luxuarts village house offer daily cleaning of 2 hours during the summer (May to September), including intermediate cleaning the rest of the year, for a minimum of one week's rental.

 

This village house is situated in the village centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, which is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

 

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.
