Chateau Baulieu is a magnificent family estate originally built by Henri III and from 1756 the Chateau & title was passed to the Counts of Provence. The greatest Provencal families have since succeeded one another.

Located near Aix en Provence, house staff and chef, tennis, swimming pool, and jacuzzi, huge private park and vineyards.

Chateau Baulieu is a 22-hectare family estate ideally located in the heart of the Pays d'Aix, on an exceptional wine-growing terroir. At the heart of this property is a castle that looks like a large and harmonious Tuscan house. It houses 12 elegant rooms and suites with a breathtaking view of the Alpilles massif, the Luberon, the Sainte-Victoire.

In all the rooms of this masterly residence, the perfume of the Latin culture so dear to the family who restored it in the respect of its long tradition floats. The refined decoration and the 5-star comfort combine perfectly to offer an absolutely unforgettable holiday destination.
Each suite, from 30m² to 75m², decorated by the family, evokes the history of the estate through the different eras. Whether they are decorated in 1850, Spanish, Provençal, Italian-Venetian, Louis XIV, XVIII, Napoleon III or 1900, they all offer an exceptional view of the Alpilles, the property, the park and the vineyards. Modern objects and period elements blend happily in a refined decoration that promises 5-star comfort.

Outside the Chateau is located in a historic 17th century park which is composed of several areas, the boxwood labyrinth, the nymphaeum and the pond park, which create different atmospheres.
Many outdoor activities are available on the estate, relaxing by the pool 21m x7 m or in the jacuzzi, walking in the 22-hectare historic park, tennis or cycling in the 300-hectare estate... To accompany guests on their wanderings, information panels are installed throughout the estate, a well thought-out itinerary to help you discover all the marvels hidden in these majestic places.

The prices includes the services & staff providing breakfasts, lunches, dinners at the Château with ingredients menus, non-alcoholic drinks and wine from the estate.

A selection of activities can be organised such as a visit to the cellars and a wine tasting with an oenologist, a 4X4 expedition to discover the whole of the vineyard and agricultural estate, participation in the grape harvest (September to October) and sports activities (golf, horse riding, canoeing, etc.) nearby.
