Villa Los Rios is a luxurious four bedrooms villa with amazing panoramic sea and mountain views. From the moment that you step into this villa you will be engulfed by not only the ultra modern design, but the jaw dropping views that can be enjoyed from every single room in this villa. Located in a quiet urbanisation of Voltacado and only two kilometres from the white village of Mijas this is the perfect villa for those looking for peace and tranquility in the sun.
The original and unique design is much like an L shaped platform. One wing of the villa has an open living space that includes kitchen and dining which overlooks the swimming pool where you can enjoy the most breath-taking sea views. The other side of the house is where you will find the four bedrooms that have en-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms enjoy gorgeous mountain views and direct access to the wrap around terrace.
The lower level of the villa is cut into the hill creating a large exterior foyer, lounge and garden. On the lower level of the villa, you have a gym are with cardio equipment and weights. The gym area also enjoys floor to ceiling windows and amazing views out to the sea and mountains. You can enjoy a long run on the treadmill looking out to the sea and mountains. Next to the gym you have a cinema room with plush sofas and seating for up to 8. From this lower area you also have access to a second terrace which has comfortable plush sofas, hanging chairs and a ping pong table and also billiards. To reach the upper level is via a generous wooden staircase which leads right into the centre of the house.
The villa offers a spacious open plan design and a seamless indoor and outdoor living concept Stepping through the front door leads you straight into the spacious open plan living area that spans the entire length of the swimming pool outside. The floor to ceiling windows that surround the entire upper level of the living/dining room all you to enjoy the gorgeous views from every corner of the upper area. Stepping down into the sunken living room you can relax on the plush and very comfortable modular sofa which is centred around a cluster of artfully arranged coffee tables The space is illuminated by a sculptural metal lighting configuration suspended overhead.
The dining area has a minimalistic square table that can comfortably seat eight people. Suspended over the dining table hangs an eye-catching LED pendant light and A state-of-the-art kitchen completes the space. The entire open-plan living area is surrounded by glazed sliding windows that can be opened up to create an indoor / outdoor living experience and allows for the breath-taking external views to be enjoyed from any perspective.
The villa has a warm and inviting feel. The gorgeous honey tones of the oak wood that has been used on the external sliding shutters, handrails and stair treads were inspired by the oak tone of the kitchen add to the incredible warmth to the villa.
The four identical bedrooms feature bespoke fitted wardrobes. Linear led lighting illuminates the white floor to ceiling voile drapes and headboards while the walls are adorned with abstract digital artworks that add a pop of colour to the otherwise monochrome feel. Each room has a sliding oak door that opens onto the viewing platform. The en-suite bathroom walls are clad in a porcelain marble-effect tile that provide a minimalist backdrop for the contemporary black fittings and sink units.
The outside pool area is perfect for those wonderful afternoons when you want to relax in take in the sun! Sun loungers surround the pool and there is also a comfortable sofa should you wish to relax with a good book and a cold drink! If a respite is needed from the summer rays you can take respite underneath the covered terrace in one of the comfortable over sized chairs. The pool has roman steps which is ideal for those with children and the pool can also be heated in the winter. Enjoy al-fresco dining under the stars as the dining area can easily fit 8 for the outdoor evening meals.
Located in a quiet urbanisation, but still only a 15 minutes’s drive down to the beaches and coast of Fuengirola. Within two kilometres to the villa, you have the lovely village of Mijas where you have a variety of restaurants, shops and cafes.
