Mas Authentique unfolds across several buildings, each air-conditioned and beautifully restored to reflect the rustic elegance of traditional Provençal architecture. The property includes the main house and a charming summer annex, each harmonising the past with the comforts of the present time.

 

Spanning 450 square meters, on the ground floor the Mas welcomes one with a large farmhouse-style kitchen adorned with an impressive fireplace and fully equipped with modern appliances.

The main living room blends natural stone, old beams, and works of art, accentuated by large glass windows and an open fireplace, creating a dialogue with the garden.

A small reading room with a traditional fireplace and a vintage piano, offering an intimate and welcoming space for relaxation and music.

 

The Mas consist of six bedrooms, one of which offers independent access. The centrepiece is a master bedroom of 65 square meters, featuring a King-size bed 180 x 200cm, overlooking the pool, a large walk-in cupboard, and an open bathroom with an elegant Italian shower.

 

In addition the Mas offers a fitness area offers state-of-the-art equipment, including a rowing machine, fitness weights, and yoga mats, ensuring a complete wellness experience

 

Outside under a century-old plane tree, an outdoor dining arrangement awaits, designed by the owners culinary chef.

Another garden area, surrounded by climbing jasmine, includes a pétanque /boule court with an adjacent rustic bar and seating, complemented by a murmuring fountain—the passage to the fitness and sauna facilities

Opening directly onto a heated pool, the summer house offers  a summer kitchen and a leisure area with a French billiards table.

A splendid wooden table can seat up to 12 guests, strategically positioned near the sliding glass doors that reveal the inviting pool.

The pool, nestled in a lush green setting, harmoniously blends old roses, fragrant jasmine, and is adorned with a majestic palm tree, creating a true oasis of freshness and beauty.

A Kamado barbecue is also available for high-quality grilling, enhancing moments of conviviality.


From here the pretty small village of Mouries is just walking distance to the shops/restaurants/grocers and Maussane les Alpilles only 8 kilometres drive away  with all the amenities, boulangeries, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants and just a little further Saint Remy de Provence is a lively charming  classical little town capital of the Alpilles, it has all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

 

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.
