Mas Caden is within a 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of the picturesque village of Eygalières, with its shops, restaurants and street cafes. The Mas is very bright Provencal farmhouse in a quite area with olive trees, where comfort and intimacy dominate.

 

Upon your arrival, you will be struck by the charm of this house, the architect who built it wanted us to have the impression of living outside, even being inside, the light is omnipresent, and makes this house extremely bright and pleasant. The totally open terrace/veranda which houses a living room and a table for enjoying breakfast will fill you with the rays of the sun which it lets in abundantly, even on cold winter days.

The large living spaces also contribute to making this house warm, whether in the living room, by the fireplace, or in the dining room or in the kitchen open to the outside, you will have a wide choice of spaces to share unforgettable moments, here in Provence.  

The Villa consists of five air-conditioned bedrooms & bathrooms accommodating 8 to 10 guests

 

Outdoor spaces in direct relation with the house are privileged… 

The entrance to the property is via a small dirt road that passes through a sublime olive grove. The 2600  of land have been planted with multiple Mediterranean species that will help to continue your immersion in our dear Provence. Rosemary or oleander here, thyme and lavender there… So many essences that will delight your senses and your pleasure of being here on vacation.

Several south-facing terraces will allow you to enjoy other sunsets while savouring wonderful moments of calm and conviviality.

This region has plenty to offer, apart from the charming picturesque village of Eygalières walking distance from the villa with its shops and cafes and restaurants, one can venture a little further such as the lively village of St Rémy de Provence is just 7 kilometres is a charming classical little town, capital of the Alpilles with all the amenities, boulangeries, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

 

The landscape in this region is particularly picturesque, encompassing rolling hills dotted with quaint hilltop villages and countless hiking trails, extensive sunflower fields, olive groves. This region is steep with history with plenty of sites to visit such as Les Baux de Provence, is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Avignon, Arles, Nîmes and Uzès and the are other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at only 30 to 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses.

Household linen as well as bath and pool towels are provided

All sheets, bath towels and towels are changed weekly for rentals of 2 weeks or more

Swimming pool heating  included July & August max 17/28c° N.B. all heated pools, heating and water temperature are reliant on weather & outside temperatures

Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival, extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the Security deposit
