Located in the countryside between Saint Rémy de Provence and a stone's throw from the Cité des Papes in Avignon, this residence is built in the heart of a 2 hectare The owners have preserved the architecture and period features of this elegant 18th century manor house to create a marvellous marriage and create a contemporary success of high standing. The use of modern high-end materials, stone, floors, period fireplaces and vast volumes preserved have resulted in a beautiful home imprinted with an exceptional quality of life.

 

The Mas Dinard composes of 4 bedroom and bathrooms with air-conditioning accommodating  between 8 to 11 guests . On the ground floor a large entrance lobby
 leading to a living room with open fireplace and doors to the terrace

On the first floor 3 bedrooms with bathrooms and a dressing room with two additional single beds and one of the other bedrooms has a large single bed

 

The exterior, here in Provence, resides essentially by the shady terrace that borders the house along the entire length of its south facade. It reveals a personality that harmonises with the construction. Thus sheltered from the mistral, delimited by small hedges not to cut the sight, it opens on the different spaces where the view is well clear that surround or border the house.
Large open spaces surround the pool 15m x 7m m lets the gaze get lost in the distance. There is a fully fenced 2-hectare park
with  olive groves, cypresses, fig trees, oleanders, lavender ... an olive grove, century-old plane trees, a well in front of the house, flowerpots, an elegant fountain leaning against the wall , A stone table, benches, armchairs, Chilean

 

The Mas is 3 km to the centre of the charming village of Châteaurenard which offers a variety of restaurants/bar/cafes boulangeries and shops all what you need and a weekly market on Sunday

Near by is St. Remy de Provence 11 km lively charming classical little town capital of the Alpilles, it has all the amenities, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

 

A short 15 minutes drive north is the beautiful walled city of Avignon - a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the medieval city of Popes, with the biggest gothic palace in the world. Further north is Chateauneuf du Pape 27 km renowned for its famous wine

To the west Pont de Guard – also a World Heritage Site – the incredible triple height aqueduct bridge built by the Romans, which delivered pure water to the Roman baths and fountains at Nîmes to the west, with its impressive Roman arena.

To the south, the city of Arles with its roman arena (holdings 20,000 spectators) and the nearest beach at St. Maries de la Mer (¾ hour’s drive).

The Camargue offers wonderful opportunities to ride, bicycle and walk in this fascinating area. There is also excellent riding, cycling and walking in the Alpilles hills close to St Remy and Les Baux de Provence. Bicycles can be hired and there are a number of nearby livery stables.
