Maison Reine is located in the heart of the village of Maussane, beautiful residence, with a enclosed landscaped garden with an elegant heated swimming pool.

Peaceful and serene, this elegant residence also rhymes with serenity and pleasure.

With an air of vacation, it multiplies the assets with refined volumes, whiteness of the plaster covering the walls of the ground floor and most of the bedrooms, large living rooms and spacious bedrooms.

The relatively minimalist style goes straight to the point, a clever mix of noble and simple materials exposed beams, terracotta floors, etc…, and natural materials such as marble, wood, linen or rattan materials.

Here we can imagine an art of living where simple pleasure, combined with comfort, is the dominates factor.

The House consist of 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms for 12 guests ideally for 10 adults and two children

 

This Provencal village house with its lush south-facing garden, it exudes a personality that harmonises with the house. Beyond the stone terrace which borders the south-facing facade, sounded by a hedge, Mediterranean species ,cypress, fig trees, olive trees, , mulberry  & plane tree providing shade, and many other flowering shrubs.

An old trough converted into a fountain and a pergola covered by a vine with elegant wrought iron deckchairs are part of the ambiance of this garden

Heated swimming pool with salt filtration 12m x 4m - depth: from 1.20m to 1.70m – with security of  an electric cover surrounded by lawn  with wooden deckchairs

There is private parking for 3 cars in front of the house


Walking distance from the house 200 meters you are in the centre of the charming village of  Maussane-les-Alpilles which  offers a variety of restaurants/bar/cafes with great ambiance , boulangeries and shops all what you need and a weekly market on Thursday

Near by is St. Remy de Provence lively charming classical little town capital of the Alpilles, it has all the amenities, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.

 

A short 25 minutes drive north is the beautiful walled city of Avignon - a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the medieval city of Popes, with the biggest gothic palace in the world. Pont de Guard – also a World Heritage Site – the incredible triple height aqueduct bridge built by the Romans, which delivered pure water to the Roman baths and fountains at Nîmes to the west, with its impressive Roman arena.

To the south, the city of Arles with its roman arena (holdings 20,000 spectators) and the nearest beach at St. Maries de la Mer (¾ hour’s drive).

The Camargue offers wonderful opportunities to ride, bicycle and walk in this fascinating area. There is also excellent riding, cycling and walking in the Alpilles hills close to St Remy and Les Baux de Provence. Bicycles can be hired and there are a number of nearby livery stables.

Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival, extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the Security Deposit
