The Chateau Greenwell itself is of 600 sq m of living space and can accommodate a maximum 20 guests in its 10 rooms. The place combines very well authentic furniture and modern equipment with taste.
The main building hosts the home while the wings contain stables, the orangery and cellars. The Chateau retains its character thanks to quite exceptional arches, pilasters, columns, door frames, majestic Louis XIV fireplaces. All these elements create both an intimate and mysterious atmosphere.
A large hall, paved with17th-century terracotta tiles, serves all the vaulted rooms on the ground floor. A 70sq m living room with an office area an a library.
The blue vaulted lounge 70 sqm with its crystal chandeliers, offers a beautiful acoustic for music lovers and musicians.
The dining room 46 sqm plus backroom offers a beautiful stone fireplace, and can accommodate the whole family 20 persons around the big “hunting scene” table.
The large kitchen 42sqm, with beautiful stone fireplace, back kitchen, professional cooker, toaster, juicer, ice maker, US fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, micro wave, food processor, wine cupboard, Nespresso machine, Baby cook, is perfectly suited to cooking for large groups.
A fully equipped laundry is also available iron, washing machine and tumble dryer

The property is surrounded by 50 acres of land and park. The current park was planted in 1896 by Lord Greenwell and his wife Emma Maire, great-grandparents of the current owner.
Eight magnificent cedars from Lebanon open a beautiful view to the courtyard. A large balustrade crowns the East terrace and its 300 years old climbing vine. Another large terrace planted with amazing trees including a 300 years old chestnut tree, dominates the valley of the Dordogne. The meadows surrounding Chateau Greenwell helps to retain some rural character.
