A 5 to 8 minutes short walk to St Paul de Vence, a unique picturesque, village with narrow cobbled streets, restaurants and craft shops including the renowned restaurant La Colombe d'Or. For art lovers, the Maeght Foundation Museum of modern art is also a short walk away, featuring works of Chagall, Kandisnky, Miro' and Giacometti. Furthermore, one of Matisse latest masterpieces can be admired in the Chapelle du Rosaire, towering over the town. The old walled town of Vence is full of interesting art galleries, craft shops and cafes and restaurants as well or one can go to the beaches at Villeneuve Loubet and Cagnes-sur-Mer  which are a short distance from villa. However if you are more adventurous on can explore the magnificent cities and villages of the Cote d’Azur, from Cannes to Biot, Nice and Monaco and a little further enjoy a taste of Italy too or to the West, Grasse and Fayence.
