The outside of the Villa Hortensia is where it really excels with a stone built barbecue casita and covered dining area. Enjoy lazy afternoons after a long lunch whilst the children play in the large swimming pool with roman steps, perhaps with glances towards the impressive views to S’Horta and the surrounding countryside. There are spacious grounds composed of well maintained lawns, plus orange, lemon and almond trees. 

The local village is within walking distance and has a baker, one must experience the Majorcan favorite of Ensaimada (spiral sweet breads) and join in local life. There are also conveniently three restaurants at hand. Sandy beaches and coves are nearby including Cala d’Or with its boutique shops, plus the beaches at Cala Sanau and Cala Mitjana.
