La Galine is a perfect location. Set on a hillside surrounded by mature oak trees, the views across the vineyards to the pretty village of Grimaud & the Golfe de St Tropez in the distance, everything that you imagine a holiday in the South of France should be. The property covers 4 hectares with extensive views to the coast.
Wonderful villa accommodating up to 14 guests, all the rooms are very comfortably and tastefully furnished with en-suite bathrooms/ showers rooms, flood light tennis court table tennis, and a Boule pitch. Large lawns with several covered terraces with heated pool 12 x 5.
The main house is built on two level with a large sitting room with fireplace and separate dining room, large fully equipped kitchen with American fridge/freezer, 5 hobs “Lacanche” gas cooker, two dishwashers, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster and much more.
There is a gorgeous conservatory terrace access by the sitting room with glassed bay windows and roof that can be totally opened in the summer and with comfortable sitting area with large sofas, coffee table opened plan with dining area.
On the ground floor there are four bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom and the other with en-suite shower room and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with WC. There is a separate gents cloakroom. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, walk in shower, double basin and WC and with two balconies overlooking the valley and distance view the Gulf of St Tropez.
All rooms have air-condition in the property
A separate annex with a large TV room and Wi-Fi. There is a laundry room with two washing machines and driers.
The Annex studios located 25 meters from the main house with two further air-conditioning double bedrooms (there is a further twin bedroom with en-suite shower room & WC on request) Theses three studios with independent access are located, two studios have one with King size bed of which one can be twinned, one has a “Queen” size bed. All the suites have en suite shower room, washbasin and WC, a kitchenette with coffee machine (Nespresso), small fridge, microwave, and kettle. There are fully Air conditioned and have a private terrace to the front with table and chairs.
Outside the main house on both side there are covered terraces over looking the grounds,
the heated swimming pool 12m x 5m is situated between the main house and annex over looking the magnificent garden and views to Grimaud. It has a pergola and a fridge and Sonos sound system. There is a heated shower near by and table tennis.
A short stroll further up the hill brings you to the en-tous-cas tennis court, which is floodlight and just next door is the floodlight Boule pitch as well.
On both sides of the property there is shaded covered terrace with seating and eating area.
The property offers maid service four hours day every day six days per week including providing continental breakfast every morning with fresh croissants
The nearby village of Cogolin, which is a couple of minutes’ drive, has excellent shops and hyper-market and there are many restaurants in the area as well as the international jet set life
If St Tropez is your scene it is only 15 minutes away with all its bars, nightclubs, restaurants and of course if there is a need of some retail therapy lots and lots of tempting boutiques and if that is not enough on Tuesdays and Saturdays you have the famous market in Place de Lice and why not finish off with lunch at Le Café, they do a very good steak tartar by the way or on the opposite side of Place de Lice The Sporting which is a trendy bar/bistro good food and always full of people.
Le Senequier the bar with the red awning down by the port is a cool place to go and have a drink to people watch and of course to check out the huge yachts.

Note info;
Another plus about this house is you are not very far from the sea in case you like the idea of swimming in the Med. The village of Cogolin is 5 minutes away and everybody’s favourite supermarket LeClerc is just on the edge of the village with underground car park (lifts up to the shopping area) to avoid coming back to a very hot car!
If going wine tasting appeals to you there are several domains in the area such as Chateau Saint Marc at the bottom of the drive and my favourite Domaine de la Giscle on the road towards Collobriere from Cogolin
