Set in Comporta, this villa is a relaxed coastal retreat with 5 bedroom suites, including a bunk room for children and spacious open-plan living areas. A swimming pool, multiple outdoor chill areas and an alfresco dining space provide the perfect setting for quiet days by the sea, just a short walk from Pego and Carvalhal beaches.

Comporta is a peaceful village on Portugal’s west coast, about an hour from Lisbon surrounded by rice fields, pine trees, and sandy dunes. The villa is within walking distance of Pego and Carvalhal beaches and nearby there are small shops, cafés, and beach bars.

This villa is simple and comfortable, with an open-plan living area, a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining table. It has five bedrooms with private bathrooms, including a bunk room that’s ideal for children.

Outside, there’s a pool, several seating areas and a dining space surrounded by flowers. 

Sports facilities available locally include a surf school at Carvalhal beach and horse riding stables at “Cavalos na Areia”. The renowned village of Comporta with its trendy shops and a wider range of restaurants is located a short drive away from this villa.

The Comporta region located within the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve where the Sado river meets the ocean, has long been a favourite holiday resort of Portugal’s oldest families and has slowly also become known and loved by the international set, including a number of designers such as Christian Louboutin, due mainly to its simple charm and magical landscapes of rice fields and pine forests, thatched cottages and long un-spoilt golden sandy beaches.

There are a number of basic cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and small shops selling freshly caught fish and locally produced vegetables in the vicinity and Praia do Pego beach under 1 km Praia do Carvalhal beach 1.6 km, Carvalhal Village under 2 km and Comporta with a few trendy shops, restaurants and basic services at 14 km.
