Internationally renowned interior designer has brought the Var region back to life in all its splendour. Having fallen under the spell of one of the last authentic farmhouses in Saint-Tropez, she instantly grasped its potential and poetry. The vision was to rebuild the property in keeping with the charm of the old and the codes of a 5* hotel. This ambitious project elegantly blends the architectural authenticity of a century-old bastide with the refinement of contemporary luxury.
This Villa 650m² Provencal country house totally rebuilt and enlarged on over half a hectare of land, including 4,000m² of vines, 5 minutes' walk from Saint-Tropez village centre. House delivered fully decorated, with exclusive custom-made furnishings and equipped to luxury 5 stars hotel standards. The 7 suites including 2 Master suites with sea and village views on upper floor. TV equipment in all rooms. (If rented, 6 suites and 1 suite reserved for service) Top-of-the-range bedding with King size and Double King size beds. A 40m² fully equipped gym with vineyard view. There is Marble Hammam, Cinema room with a tasting area with wine cellars & 2 kitchens, including 1 professional with cold room and dumbwaiter on the lower floor and show kitchen on the main level. The Villa is equipped with a large laundry room and dry storage area. Fully air-conditioned and covered with high-speed WIFI.
Outdoors 100m² there is heated swimming pool with 14 sun loungers from "The Sun Experience" collection on an exotic wood terrace with Poolside outdoor bar.
For relaxing there is Indoor and outdoor sound system. Wooden pergolas with table for 14 and outdoor lounge from "The Sun Experience" collection, & for games there is a pétanque playground on the edge of the vineyards.
The property has a covered parking area for 4 vehicles & open parking area for 6 vehicles.
Harmony continues in the midst of a lush landscape dotted with platane, olives and cypress trees. Here a romantic red garden, there a lawn that hugs the gently curves of the garden, there a serpentine pedestrian path to protect, discreet vehicle parking, so that even the practical is only aesthetically pleasing. A walk of discovery through colourful gardens and numerous living spaces. Each room has its own private outdoor space, a hallmark of discreet luxury. The swimming pool, an immense oasis of coolness in the summer heat, or a luxurious refuge warmed up before and after the season, is 20 meters long, set in an exotic wood terrace, a pool house, a vast pergola and a pétanque playground. Everything has been thought out so that the 12 guests of the house feel the privilege of space.
Right from the entrance, the white staff staircase, which is both a work of art and an architectural feat, ensures a fluid transition between the 3 levels of the residence.
Under the cathedral ceiling of the large reception room, natural textures are combined in a soft colour palette. Solid oak beams, rough marbles, raffia and straw answer to the nobility of stone. Here and there, powdered pieces of furniture, a walnut football table, a backgammon table, meticulously selected artworks and sculptures make this family home a perfect mix of fun and glamour. Two large custom-made sofas face each other, with the fireplace enthroned in majesty at the epicentre. The living space is completed by a large dining table over- looking a green marble sculpture and a dark oakwood family kitchen opening on a cosy red garden, ideal for breakast time. 3 suites, each with its own private bathroom and terrace, and the former barn transformed into a spacious gym with an impressive 4.50-metre-high ceiling complete this level
The first floor opens onto 2 Master Suites with views of the village skyline and the sea. They are suspended from solid wood beams, adorned with dressing rooms, bathrooms and a private terrace.
On the lower level, the attributes of an exceptional residence caress the eye. There are 2 guest suites, a tasting room with wine cellars for the Bastide des Vignes "Cuvée Confidenielle", a professional kitchen, a large laundry room, a multimedia projection room for the most demanding guests and a marble-lined Hammam
Once a traditional fishing village, Saint-Tropez is now one of the most glamorous destinations of the Côte d’Azur and welcomes visitors from across the world with exclusive beach clubs, glitzy boutiques and fine dining restaurants. As you wander around its marina lined with huge yachts contrasting colourful fishermen’s houses overlooking the bay. The old quarter is a warren of winding lanes with French designer boutiques, picturesque cafes and restaurants whilst Place des Lices hosts a vibrant Provençal market on a Tuesday and Saturday morning and of course worth a visit 17th century citadel and maritime museum.
Boat trips are another superb way to tour this part of the coast and passenger ferries cross the bay.
Just south of the town, follow Brigitte Bardot’s footsteps as you visit one of Plage de Pampelonne’s exclusive beach clubs, the most famous being Le Club 55 (always book well in advance). Stretching over 5km, Pampelonne’s long sandy beach is also loved for its vast range of summer water sports including jet-skiing, windsurfing and paddle boarding.
On the hillside overlooking Plage de Pampelonne, Ramatuelle has attracted artists and writers over the years and is full of charm, look out for performances during its theatre and jazz festivals in the summer months. Meanwhile, hilltop Gassin is classified as one of France’s 'Plus'
