In a magnificent setting, authentic Provençal Mas completely renovated, with a view of the Château des Baux de Provence, only 2.5 km. The Mas is perched on a hillside promontory in the middle of a park surrounded by olive trees, hackberry trees, pines and other Mediterranean species.
A magnificent renovation perpetuating what the ancients built but a past revisited in a contemporary design in a refined spirit that plays on serenity in an enchanting setting. "Troglo chic", the rock rediscovered during the works, invites itself here and there in the decor and gives a striking contrast with the modernity of the entire renovation
Shared friendliness and trend as refined as it is efficient in the huge living room in which high tech, design and vestiges of authenticity intermingle, an ultra contemporary kitchen open to the dining area, and a living room in which we have created a cocooning atmosphere around the fire when the mild Provençal temperatures give way to the winter cold. In its extension, a second relaxation area in which deep sofas tighten around a coffee table and face a wall-mounted television. The furniture, sober next to vestiges, witnesses of the history of the places like these heavy leaves of the old door of the Mas
Harmonious colours and elegant lines distille a quiet serenity throughout the house and contribute to the serenity of the place.
The large bay windows face the reinvented garden, giving pride of place to maximum authenticity and naturalness.
Outside, a magnificent view is offered to us, the gaze is lost in the distance on the castle of Les Baux, on the surrounding hill and lands on the swimming pool and the multiple corners, designed in a spirit of relaxation and conviviality.
The long swimming pool of 18m x 4m, depth of 1.20m to 1.60m, beach of 1m x 4m x 0.25m, salt filtration (salt water pool), secured by a gate (fully fenced and enclosed pool area) and an electric shutter keeps its promises of heavenly holidays! lined with natural stones, it stands out in the middle of a lawned area. On the paved beach, the deckchairs invite you to bask, gazing into the distance on a landscape of cypresses, olive trees... and other vines that you can guess below, in a preserved panorama with a backdrop, proud of its rocky outcrop, the medieval castle of the city of Les Baux de Provence.
Large tables are organised under the generous shade of a magnificent ash or hackberry, trees with an elegant habit whose dense foliage provides beautiful shade in summer; but also on an elegant terrace leaning against the rocks that border the property. Link between the main building and the independent suite, it has a space equipped with a plancha which brings together in a friendly way at the time of certain meals as at aperitif time.
Under the magnificent and huge pines, pétanque ground and ping pong table will be at the center of sharing and conviviality.
To welcome you there is a small summer lounge, a palaver corner decorated with mattresses and cushions in ecru cotton as well as a small pedestal table.
The village of Les Baux de Provence is located in the heart of the Alpilles on a rocky plateau at 245m. It dominates exceptional landscapes over Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles and offers breathtaking panoramas.
This medieval village, classified as "one of the most beautiful villages in France", and labelled "remarkable site of taste" is a tourist hotspot in the region. This immense and superb stone fortress is undoubtedly one of the "Musts" of Provence!
