Further south Les Baux de Provence is considered 'one of the most beautiful villages in France, Arles, Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Uzès and other towns you can easily visit in a day, and at less than 45 minutes' drive and to the east is the Luberon region and further south, Camargue’s unique wetland populated by pink flamingos and wild horses
Avignon to the north with its UNESCO world heritage site, with it’s magnificent Palais du Papes, which is one of the architectural wonders of France is just 16 kilometres away and would make an ideal day trip. Just north of Avignon is the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region for wine lovers as well.
