Villa Calliope is an independent air-conditioned villa with private swimming pool that can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people. The villa stands among the Lucca hills that divide the medieval city from the seaside. In fact, from the Villa in a very short time it will be possible to reach the Versilian beaches or the Renaissance walls of Lucca.

The villa, in origin an old barn, thanks to the recent restoration done by the actual owners, has become an elegant and charming residence where the simple spaces of a country house have been transformed into harmonious settings and the alchemy between poor and rich materials made the perfect house for a relaxing, comfortable holiday in the Lucca countryside.

The house has maintained the characteristics of the old farmhouse with a touch of the contemporary comfort of a modern villa: all the bedrooms have their own bathroom, there is an equipped and modern kitchen, air conditioning is present in all the bedrooms, Turkish bathroom, outdoor pool and Wi-Fi enrich the property.

The villa is set 15 km from the historic centre of Lucca and due to its strategic position, from the villa you can reach some of the main Tuscan cities of art such as Pisa and Florence and Siena.

The villa is set on three floors above ground. On the first floor via an entrance staircase (4 steps) you access directly into the large living room furnished with comfortable furniture that will make you feel immediately at home; continuing you will find a spacious and equipped kitchen with a central island, where you can try to cook the typical Tuscan recipes also thanks to the help of good local chef, a dining area connected to an outdoor patio, a bathroom and a service area. On this floor there is also double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the second floor, reachable through a staircase of 18 steps, there are four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms each with a view over the hills, three of which have bathrooms with bathtubs and one with shower. Two of these rooms have a single bed that can be used if necessary.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath and both have independent access also from the garden and in addition there is a Turkish bath area furnished with loungers for relaxing.

A garden that surrounds the house and ensures maximum privacy for the guests, is cared for with plants and flowers that will make you enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the countryside equipped with tables, deck chairs also around the pool.
The swimming pool with chlorine depuration has a rectangular shape and measures about 5x10 metres with a fixed depth of 1.50 m. The access in pool is through 4 large steps.

The city of Lucca, which is not far from the house, is one of the jewels of Tuscany, an arrival point or simply a stop that cannot be overlooked due to its artistic beauty and its evocative atmosphere. After visiting Lucca, many foreign visitors chose the city as their second residence. Visiting Lucca is plunging into the narrow streets of one of the best-preserved ancient city, strolling the three famous walls, enjoying typical local dishes in the many cellars and taking part in the many organised artistic-cultural initiatives. Anyone who visits the city of Lucca is positively surprised by the chance to live in peace the different aspects of the historic centre and its surroundings.
