The house is set in the heart of the village of Maussane les Alpilles. This village house has been beautifully renovated and is super comfortable.
The authentic stone house is hidden behind a pretty wrought iron gate and has stunning wrought iron window/door frames.
The house has been superbly renovated to a very high standard creating cosy & peaceful atmosphere.
The living areas are bright and airy and mostly opening out onto the pretty garden. Eight guests can be accommodated comfortably at the house across four bedrooms & three bathrooms.
The first bedroom, which also boasts an en-suite bathroom, is located downstairs, ideal if you are travelling with anyone who struggles with the stairs.
On the first floor, you will find the other three bedrooms, the master bedroom, a double bedroom and a room with bunk beds and toys for the kids.
Outside there is a garden surrounded by fencing, which offers privacy to guests so you can unwind without being overlooked. Outdoors there are grassy areas, an ancient olive tree, benches, an al-fresco dining table, barbecue and even a private heated pool (May to October) 5m x 2m, depth 1.4m with salt filtration system and pool cover. There ample pool side sun lounger as well

Walking distance from the house 200 meters you are in the centre of the charming village of Maussane-les-Alpilles which offers a variety of restaurants/bar/cafes with great ambiance, boulangeries and shops all what you need and a weekly market on Thursday
Near by is St. Remy de Provence lively charming classical little town capital of the Alpilles, it has all the amenities, little boutiques, quaint pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, its winding cobbled lanes you will discover the small squares, historic buildings, churches and museums and on Wednesday the colourful weekly market will offer the opportunity to discover local products and handicrafts which is a must to see.
A short 25 minutes drive north is the beautiful walled city of Avignon - a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the medieval city of Popes, with the biggest gothic palace in the world. Pont de Guard – also a World Heritage Site – the incredible triple height aqueduct bridge built by the Romans, which delivered pure water to the Roman baths and fountains at Nîmes to the west, with its impressive Roman arena.
To the south, the city of Arles with its roman arena (holdings 20,000 spectators) and the nearest beach at St. Maries de la Mer (¾ hour’s drive).
The Camargue offers wonderful opportunities to ride, bicycle and walk in this fascinating area. There is also excellent riding, cycling and walking in the Alpilles hills close to St Remy and Les Baux de Provence. Bicycles can be hired and there are a number of nearby livery stables.
